I'm selling my flat which has a home report value of £120k, and purchasing a new build property from Avant at £343,995. This fee will reduce as our reservation and deposit fee comes off at completion (£250 and £2500). The flat is due to be on the market this week and our move-in date is scheduled for April.

I have a quote from Avant's solicitors (including LLBT) at £10,000 with a £300 deduction from Avant if we go with their solicitors. However, preferably I would like to avoid that. I have had other quotes with the cheapest coming through at around £9550, but I obviously would prefer to see what the market has to offer. After all, it's not about just going with the cheapest quote!
