About the Business

Why not talk to one of our award winning family law team. We have all the experience and expertise necessary to make sure you find a solution that works for you. Of course that doesn't mean we've left our long established heritage behind. Robert Grayson, a native of Sheffield, qualified as a solicitor at the outbreak of WWI. Returning from France in 1919 he took a place with the firm at which he had done his training and subsequently set up in business on his own account in Figtree Lane on 1st December 1925.

Robert was a sociable and cheerful man and he soon attracted a good client following. He remained a sole practitioner until after the WWII when his two sons qualified as solicitors and joined the practice. By the late 60's, when specialisation was the order of the day, the firm set out to expand. The business then operated out of premises at 7 North Church Street and Mazda Buildings, Campo Lane in Sheffield.
