Paisleys is the oldest established firm of solicitors in Workington and one of the most long-established firms in Cumbria. The firm has been based in West Cumbria for over 130 years and its roots can be traced back to 1879. The firm is long-established in its Jane Street premises. In 2013 the firm merged with Geoffrey Clapp Solicitor in Carlisle enabling us to provide a comprehensive service to a wider market.
The firm believes that people prefer to deal with a local firm of solicitors. By instructing Paisleys you are employing a solicitor who knows the local area and what issues and problems may be specific to West Cumbria or Carlisle.
Paisleys has always placed service, integrity and trust at its heart. It was an early adopter of the Legal Aid Franchise quality standard in the mid-nineties becoming one of the first firms in Cumbria to attain the standard.
