We are located in the port town of Folkestone and Dover and have clients resident in Europe who take our advice on matters of English law. As a result we have developed good working relationships with lawyers in some European cities.

Folkestone, KentI’ve had a very negative experience with Jeremy Saynor of Frederic Hall Solicitors during a long-running housing dispute. He represents a landlord who failed to address serious disrepair over several years — including conditions affecting health and safety.
Rather than helping resolve the matter, Mr Saynor focused on technical arguments to push for eviction, despite full awareness of repeated complaints and strong evidence of disrepair. The court has allowed the case to proceed under retaliatory eviction grounds (Deregulation Act 2015), rejecting his attempt to have it dismissed early.
In my view, his communication was dismissive and gave little regard to the reality of the housing conditions. While I make no claim of unlawful conduct, I believe his approach was ethically disappointing and unconstructive. Not recommended for housing-related matters.
