Established over 200 years ago, Holmes & Hills have continuously adapted to a changing environment and the changing needs of clients in order to continue offering only the best in expert legal advice, support and representation. Over time, Holmes & Hills Solicitors has become firmly woven into the fabric of local life in North Essex and South Suffolk, sponsoring local groups, organisations and events as well as arranging our own - the Holmes & Hills Bike Ride - for the benefit of local charities.
When the firm that later became known as Holmes & Hills first started offering legal advice to the people of North Essex, solicitors were much like doctors, general legal practitioners that would look after all the legal needs of a particular client. As time has passed and legislation has developed to affect more areas of everyday life, the need for legal support has grown.
